After a competitive swimming career at the University of Louisville, Mike left the pool deck to earn degrees in Philosophy and Business, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Development. Over the past 25 years, he has facilitated large-scale organizational change with clients from diverse sectors including government, banking, health care, education, technology, and energy. He specializes in leading executives through reconciliation to mitigate crisis and to facilitate change management initiatives.
Mike is an adjunct professor at Aquinas College in the Masters of Management program, teaching Organizational Theory and Organizational Behavior. He maintains membership in the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association. He’s passionate about community-buliding, so he volunteers behind the scenes at Steepletown Neighborhood Services, and on the baseball field with Rockford Little League.
Mike lives in West Michigan with his wife, poet Katie Kalisz, and their three children, Maeve, Huck, and Hudson.
